CHANGE TIME

It is crossroads time.  We are about done with what can we say about the background to the Titanic story of ours.  There may be minor changes to "Affair" as we try to improve it as it is from a content standpoint.  The blog "Conclusions" is now frozen as far as book content is concerned and from now on will be used to provide progress reports on the analysis and any conclusions that can be released.

I would like to present to the public a fresh version of the world famous Titanic story for their enjoyment.  I thought it would be fun to present the story in blog form so those interested in the Titanic could follow the story line as it develops.  Like many authors I am not quite sure how this is going to happen.  The Titanic has many, many fascinating facets to it and I may only be able to touch on a few.

The purpose of this blog is to provide a navigating tool (or understanding) for reading the developing story line in two ways, and how I now think this will be accomplished (subject to future change as they say).  The two ways are: traditional blog format with the latest material first; and the second way, book format, with new material presented last.  The new material in the book format will be presented in green font and will be changed to black font within three weeks.  In book format there will be only a single posting.

The two ways of doing things means that two separate blogs are required for the developing story line and the blog titles for the two are: TITANIC CONCLUSIONS for the tradition blog format; and THE MYSTERIOUS TITANIC AFFAIR for the serial (or book like) format.  The two blogs (or versions) will no longer have identical content.  

This blogging format permits dynamic editing.  Additions to both blogs will be in red font, reverting to normal black font within two weeks.  Deleted text will be undetectable.   Revisions to "AFFAIR" will be in red font again reverting to black font within two weeks.  No revisions  will be made to TITANIC CONCLUSIONS blog  .  \\

Addendums to the text such as appendices, lists of tables etc., references, notes and so forth will be found at the end of "Titanic Affair" ONLY.
